Folie Palomas
The Haute Couture delight signed by the Palomas and Bucol Houses
The 'Folie Palomas ®' seals the alliance of two renowned houses that have been perpetuating the beauty of the artisanal gesture since the Roaring Twenties.
From the confluence of the exceptional know-how of Palomas®, artisan of fine chocolate making, and Bucol, creator of haute couture fabrics, comes an audacious collaboration with the edition of a limited series of extraordinary boxes, inspired by the festivities and effervescence of that era.
An unprecedented collaboration of two iconic houses
The Palomas® House reinvents the pleasure of tasting fine French chocolate by creating recipes that are unique in the world, such as Palets de Fourvière®. The Palomas® taste is characterized by a finesse of flavors that faithfully reproduce the original scents of the most exquisite and delicate ingredients of responsible agriculture.
Founded in 1924, the Bucol textile house manufactures fabrics for haute couture and designer ready-to-wear. Its undisputed reputation in fashion comes from the inventiveness of its creations, the refinement of its jacquards, the quality of their fibers and the subtlety of the colors.
While inscribing their products and know-how in the world of excellence, both houses work with the noblest and most responsible raw materials. It is only natural that Palomas® and Bucol have chosen to combine their talents!
The extravagant fusion of the beautiful and the good
The inspiration is to relive the era of the very large boxes of chocolates adorned with precious fabrics that are offered for the end of the year celebrations, family reunions or for any exceptional occasion. These gifts, as majestic as they were generous, became objects of collection or exhibition in which jewels, watches, embroideries were kept...
Folie Palomas® is a limited and numbered edition, as sumptuous as it is delicious, in five different fabric patterns. Each unique box is virtuously wrapped in a different floral lampas, whose masterful Bucol jacquard matches the generosity of Palomas® chocolate candies. One of the five designs features imaginary flowers that evoke the strength and generosity of Palomas® chocolate candy.
These cases are filled with three hundred jewels of fine chocolate, the largest Palomas® box ever created, with the emblematic 'Palets de Fourvière ®' and the entire collection of Palomas® chocolates, including 'Ganaches Origine', 'Palets d'or', 'Mont Blanc', and a constellation of some thirty bonbons such as 'Sirius', 'Orion', 'Andromeda'.

The Bucol House
Created in 1924, Bucol takes its name from its founders Claude Buchet and Charles Colcombet. As early as 1854, the Colcombet family ran a ribbon factory in Saint-Etienne, the heir to an 18th century factory.
Colcombet was awarded the Grand Prix d'Honneur at the 1900 Universal Exhibition, and from the outset worked for the Parisian haute couture industry, exporting its products all over the world. During the 20th century, the company expanded its range of quality silks to include ever more innovative and original fabrics.
Bucol has progressively acquired a solid reputation in the fashion world as a designer and manufacturer of high-end fabrics recognized for their refinement, the quality of their fibers as well as for the subtlety and color of their jacquards and prints.
Since 1987, when it joined the Hermès Textile Holding Company, Bucol has built its reputation on the integration and perfect mastery of the entire textile creation chain, from weaving to finishing and including the most advanced printing techniques.
Today, more than ever, Bucol is a privileged partner of the most prominent fashion houses and contemporary designers.
